David Wooffindin runs a small family business sweeping chimneys and installing stoves and liners in Yorkshire. He is fully qualified and has obtained the HETAS approval for chimney sweeping and installer of stoves and fires.

• In 1994 He became a chimney sweep, having been trained by a Guild qualified sweep

  In 1996 David joined the guild of master sweeps
• In 1999 He became a Guild assessor and helped to teach new chimney sweeps in the guild, to City & Guilds qualified standard
• In 2002 David became a director of the Guild
• In 2002 He became a HETAS approved chimney sweep
• And in 2004 became an approved installer of stoves and fireplaces
• In March 2006 David along with other Guild members went to a German chimney sweeping school and attended a seminar in further technology for heating systems
• In 2007 He was voted in as the Bookkeeper & Deputy Education for the guild
• In 2009 He was voted in as the Education and financial officer for the guild
